We would like to thank all the inspiring leaders who attended and contributed with a real spirit of generosity, openness and sharing to make last weeks Managing to be Human Forum a great success.
We received many messages of thanks from people who appreciate the Forum and the difference they believe it can and is making. We too are very pleased with the progress that is being made.
In particularly we would like to thank our three speakers who spoke openly and honestly about the learnings and initiatives they are taking around three big areas of challenge:
- Paul O’Mahony Glanbia plc – How to get commitment and buy-in from Senior Teams and other key stakeholders. Can we move beyond pure platitudes and lip service?
- Shane Maher DePuy Synthes – How to address the challenge to move to a new paradigm of management while retaining control. What would “management” really mean in this new framework?
- Eoin Butler Musgrave Group – How does Managing to be Human marry with the bottom-line and make sense from an overall business view point. How does it deal with and contribute to shareholders interest?
