The X Meeting (Part 2)

  • There is no shortage of Missions, Visions and Strategies in organisations but they are only really evident either at the higher echelons of organisations or proudly displayed at Reception areas for visitors.
  • What a waste of time and energy and what a waste of opportunity.
  • Not only would our strategies be enriched by the real contribution of everybody in the organisation to their creation, but equally, they would enrich the lives of everybody if they were seen and used as the drivers for behaviour and performance.
  • The second part of the X Meeting deals with this. It invites and involves people in the development of a strategy for how to realise the vision that all share, and establishes a process to continue that involvement so that the strategy remains relevant, powerful, and effective.
